Our View for Children's Ministries 

At WHUMC we view children as important members in our Church community and in the kingdom of God.  Our age appropriate programs are designed to offer each child a place to belong and grow in faith while becoming aware of God's Love and Grace. We seek to have our Children actively involved in all ministries available in our church and our community.

What All Do We Do?

Sunday School classes are offered for children age 4 through grade five. Sunday School is a vital and exciting part of our ministry where we enrich the minds and spirits of the future generations through a centralized Lesson. We also work closely with other church ministries such as Music ministries during the school year. Children even have their own bulletins available during both services to keep them engaged.

When Is it?

Sunday School starts at 10:00 a.m. every Sunday and finishes in time for the 11 o'clock worship service.

Joyful Voices (Children's Music) 9:20am until 10am Sundays during the School Year.

Is there anything else that happens besides Sunday School?

Well Yes!! We are glad you asked. The children's ministries program here at WHUMC hosts events throughout the year such as: Parents Night Out in which we will watch your children while you go have a night to yourself, Outdoor Movie Night in our parking lot with family friendly movies on our 15 foot screen, Vacation Bible School where the children will bond and learn about God in fun and new ways, , and other various outings to places such as Fairy Stone State Park, catching a Red Sox game, or snowtubing at Winterplace.
