A. 10:30 am

Q. Is the church handicap accessible?
A. Yes, we have easy access to the sanctuary. We have space inside the sanctuary for visitors using wheelchairs or rollators. We also have an elevator. We have handicap parking spaces with easy access to the sanctuary.

Q. Is the service traditional or contemporary?
A. We have blended worship services, containing both traditional and contemporary elements.

Q. Are children welcome in worship?
A. Definitely! Children are always welcome to worship with their families in the sanctuary. There is a children’s message during worship and children are also invited to lead in worship through prayer, dramatic readings, music, and even as acolytes. In addition, we have a Prayground just outside the sanctuary with kid friendly activities to allow families to worship together in ways that accommodate the wiggles!

Q. Is the worship service available online?
A. Yes! You can log on to Facebook or YouTube to view the livestream of the in-person worship service. Online worship is a great option for a first visit, and we hope you will take the next step to visit in person. It’s also a great option for worshippers who are unable to leave their homes, or to share with friends who want to check out Windsor Hills for the first time.

Q. Do you offer a nursery?
A. A nursery is provided for ages 6 months to 6 years. Otherwise, children are encouraged to worship with their family. Changing tables are available in each of the bathrooms that are in the breezeway.

Q. What should I wear?
A. Whatever you are comfortable in! There is no dress code. You will see people wearing everything from suits to dresses to jeans and sneakers.

Windsor Hills UMC  is a Bridge Church.

Windsor Hills UMC has chosen to be a Bridge Church of the Virginia Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. As such, we commit to remaining a part of the United Methodist Church as well as commit to serving those who have lost their church homes through disaffiliation or closure. We will partner in this work in the following ways:

  1. Provide a welcoming place to belong during this time of grief and transition, which might be for just a season or forever.

  2. Offer “No pressure” ministry opportunities (for just a season, or forever). These will include worship, discipleship, and mission.

  3. Organize local groups of those who wish to remain UMC by proactively finding and connecting with individual persons and groups that feel displaced by disaffiliating churches.

  4. Connect persons or groups with Conference and District resources to help them discern their next steps as they consider a new church home.

Mission Statement

In response to God’s love and presence in our lives, the mission of Windsor Hills UMC is to bring people to Jesus Christ and to a new life in His family.  Our community of faith will provide ministries of worship, spiritual growth, fellowship, and hands-on service.  Guided by scripture and prayer, we will reach out to meet the diverse needs of our members, our community, and the world.
