First Sunday Night Live - A Good News Gathering
First Sunday Night Live will be held each first Sunday evening though out the year as a means to provide inspiration and fellowship to all who wish to join in. We start at 6 pm with a covered dish supper. The program begins at 6:40 in the sanctuary and consists of song, small group discussion, communion, and prayer around the alter. The program concludes by 8 pm.
Mark your calendars. The next church wide Sunday Night Live gathering will be held Sunday, February 7. This time only, we’ll begin with a covered dish supper at 5 PM. The program will begin at promptly at 5:40 PM and will include music, worship, and communion. We are going to have a team competition, “Bible Football”. The game will be over by 7 PM so you can go home and watch the Super Bowl if you’d like. We hope you’ll join the growing group of Windsor Hills members and friends who find this to be an inspirational and fun way to begin the month. LENT 2010 BEGINS FEBRUARY 17TH
This year we will observe the beginning of the Lenten Season on Wednesday, February 17 with an all-church Pancake Supper at 6:00 PM in Windsor Hall, followed by a traditional Ash Wednesday Service at 7:00 in the Sanctuary. The dinner will be floating, so if you can’t show up by 6:00, you won’t be left out.
News
Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of the members and friends of Windsor Hills Church,over $4,000 has been received to date for relief of the suffering in Haiti. Plans are in the works for Lenten Luncheons starting on February 25th at 12:30 in Windsor Hall, followed by inspirational speakers. We look forward to these gatherings which draw our friends and neighbors from churches in our community. Details will be posted soon.
Jane Baldwin Retires

This January, Jane Baldwin retied as Church Secretary. She was honored and thanked and recognized for her many contributions to the church at a luncheon after the Sunday service. We wish her the best in retirement.
