Feed the Hungry Project
During Easter of this year, we were given the opportunity to purchase an Easter Lily for the Sanctuary or to make a donation to help “Feed the Hungry”. A number of people chose to make a donation to this cause and we collected $545.50. The Missions Committee has decided to send half of this money to St. Francis House and half to The Second Harvest Food Bank.
As most of you are aware, all the agencies helping to feed the hungry, the homeless and those families whose breadwinners have lost their jobs, are in dire need of food and supplies. This money will help the agencies to purchase much food at wholesale prices and will feed many. Bless each and everyone of you!
